Technology Alliance Nov. 9th conference call
Al recapped the TA teleconference which included a election debrief, national academies’ recommendations, draft 2006 TA policy priorities and a reminder that the Technology Alliance’s annual State of Technology Luncheon featuring keynote speaker Amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos will be held Monday, May 15, 2006, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, at the Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle.Port of Chelan County
Laura reported that the Port has a willingness and interest in helping GWATA with resources to leverage those initiatives that are congruent to both organizations. Ron Rodriguez with the Port has agreed to share a short presentation of why the Advanced Vehicle Initiative is significant for local businesses at our Jan. 25th meeting.
Focus for GWATA Directors
In the short-term, the Directors agreed we will continue to focus on 1) holding events to bring people together 2) collect data/ideas from other technology groups and local businesses to meet our groups needs 3) work on developing the key initiatives for GWATA and announce those initiatives in first quarter of 2006.

Membership
We will be reviewing our membership structure at the Dec. 21 Board Meeting. We welcome your opinions as we develop this new structure and expect to have the details available by early 2006.
Bylaws
Minor changes were requested to the bylaws presented. Nena was requested to ask Pete Fraley to update and finalize the bylaws. Martin requested that all Directors sign these finalized bylaws on or before the Dec. 21st meeting.
